Established as Eliaz Wineries in 1952, the winery is located in the small town Binyamina at the bottom of the Carmel mountains. 1994 a small group of investors purchased the antiqued winery and replaced the management present. At this point in time most modern technology and equipment was introduced, which in the last years lead to a constant rising in quality. Under supervision of head viniculturist Sasson Ben-Aharon and viniculturist Assaf Paz, Binyamina became in the meanwhile the fourth largest winery Israels and produces about 2,8 million bottles a year. The grapes of the diversive wines originate from vineyards in the whole country. Added to that Binyamina, as the first israeli winery, introduced Viognier and Tempranillo wines.
